Our advice to you, its all fine and dandy when your riding a scooter at 70 MPH on a street. But the question is; are your brakes designed to withstand high heat capabilities? Generally scooter brakes are designed to last well in water but not necessarily to handle the high speeds of street use. So ask yourself this question, do I want scooter brakes to get me by, or do I want scooter brakes to stop at a moments notice. It's all about having the best for your scooter, and safety.
High performance front disc brake rotor
Due to the conditions in which scooters are ridden, disc wear is quite common especially on front or rear brake applications. It is quite common to have to replace the rear brake rotors two or three times during the life of a scooter, especially if riding in wet conditions.
The advantage of the scooter brake rotor is that it reduces weight due to its contoured profile and better cleaning due to the scraper slots around the edge of the disc/rotor.
