Comedy helmet manufacturer Torneo has celebrated their first year of production by having a special helmet day in Italy.
After a successful launch at the 2008 EICMA Show in Milan back in November 2008, Torneo released a full-range of their sporting orientated helmets.
The concept for the design is to find some sort of medium between sport and motorcycling (don’t ask us why?) and the manufacture has now patented the coating system that they add to the soft composite on the outer of the shell that actually makes the lid feel like the ball it’s based on.
So the basketball feels just like a basketball would, as does the football and so on.
The helmets are distributed in Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland, and you can get your hands on one of the five designs direct from Italy with prices ranging between £180 and £225.
At the moment there are just open-face helmets available.

and his crew took a Baccio, VX-150cc scooter
from Mod Cycles, knocked off some of the stock parts, and
sculpted a big, fat, funny-looking, sow pig body around it.
Then, they gave it a custom airbrushed paint job, a whole
bunch of custom chrome body parts by
ScooterChromeParts.com and a few extras to give it the
finishing touches.
Once completed, They took the Hog Bike to Biketoberfest
2009. There, the Hog Bike was showcased on the streets of
Daytona Beach, Florida for all to see, and to illustrate to all
motorcycle enthusiasts, the true meaning of "riding a hog".
"After arriving at Biketoberfest 2009, we soon realized that all of our hard work was really going to pay off. I never seen anything like it... It was unbelievable! I never seen so many people gather around & take interest in something like this... Thousands and thousands of people took pictures... Hundreds of people posed on or with the Hog Bike... There were over 100,000 bikes
at this event, but this bike got the most attention. We did interviews, answered questions and everyone loved it! If our first project for
got this kind of exposure, I can't wait to see what happens after our next builds."
ScooterChromeParts is extremely proud to be a part of this wonderful project. We truely have to take off our helmets to Jim Wizard and his crew. Jim and his crew has done a magnificent job with this Hog Bike. There have been many projects that Jim has been involved in; but this is one of our favorites simply because it happens to be a
.
When Jim called us to help him with this project, and to provide him with some of our Chrome Body Parts, we were really excited to see what this Hog Bike would look like when it was finished. I have to tell you; we were blown away to see what and his crew had created. Jim is truely a man with an extradinary imagination.
ScooterChromeParts.com was not able to be at the Bikeoberfest 2009 physically, but we were there in spirit.
